The #20 ranked Michigan State Spartans (5-2, 0-0 Big Ten) pay a visit to South Bend, Indiana and Purcell Pavilion on Wednesday to play the Notre Dame Fighting Irish (5-1, 0-0 ACC). Michigan State has won two straight after defeating the Portland Pilots 78-77 to take 5th place in the Phil Knight Invitational. Notre Dame was defeated by Saint Bonaventure 63-51 last time out on Friday which snapped Notre Dame’s five-game winning streak to open the season. Jaden Akins is doubtful and Malik Hall is out for Michigan State. Dom Campbell, Marcus Hammond, Tony Sanders Jr and JR Konieczny are out for Notre Dame
