Switzerland plays only one half and beats Cameroon

It didn’t get scary. At the start of Brazil’s group at the Qatar World Cup, Switzerland beat Cameroon 1-0 this Thursday. Embolo (curiously, born in the African country) scored the only goal of the game at the Al Janoub stadium. But the acting was no wonder. The European team, considered favorites in the match, played very little in the first half and only woke up in the final period – when the goal came out, with an assist from Shaqiri. Cameroon surprised part of the match and missed some opportunities, to the point that goalkeeper Sommer was named man of the match. But it also offered no reason for Tite to lose sleep.

With the victory, Switzerland starts ahead in Group G and keeps an eye on the complement of the first round, with Brazil x Serbia at 4 pm (Brasília time) this Thursday. Cameroon is also waiting for the match to find out if it sleeps in the flashlight.
